2021 StartOps Insights
Our first Insight report focuses on the capacity, preparedness, and structure of operations teams because to do operations better, we must first center the people doing operations work. Autonomy is an essential element of charter schools, but the lack of a baseline operations framework for schools to leverage has resulted in operational inconsistency and instability across the sector. The data compiled in this report pinpoints where inconsistencies exist, which offers a starting point for ways to build a standard of effectiveness across the DC charter sector.
