Founder & Principal

Lauren Bryant is a catalytic connector, radical collaborator, and womanist working to operationalize spaces of belonging in order to ignite and sustain change. A native of Augusta, Georgia and Washingtonian for fifteen years, Lauren has spent the last decade cultivating community within the public education sector. Whether designing learning experiences for funders and philanthropists, leading day-to-day operations in charter schools, or supporting a national network of charter school leaders of color, her values of community, collaboration, and compassion have been centered.

Community Cultivator

Lâm is an experienced designer of nonprofits and schools aimed to bridge gaps between opportunity and the brilliance of kids of color. A native of Saigon, Vietnam and a product of South Jersey, Lâm has worked across school operations, philanthropy, social impact investing, and strategic consulting to maximize ways for children of color to win. From supporting the design of transformative education models with CityBridge Education, to managing operations and expansion of Digital Pioneers Academy, to launching a social impact consulting firm, to building strategic plans with leading nonprofits, Lâm combines design and operations with his values of family, integrity, and continuous improvement to grow StartOps’ programs and community.
